thank you all for your thoughts and prayers it was very difficult for hubby and me we had to sit in car for all while after it, its been very hard since wed, wills has gone to work and every hour on my own without rowan was very hard as we went for our walk along shore at a certain time and came home for tea and doggy bisc. i know its better this way than to watch him suffer but its o so hard rowan closed his eyes on wednesdayhis head rested in my hands, the vet has said he is in pain its hard for him to stand today there is no gentle nudge, or i love you gaze only our hearts filled with pain remembering happy days. an angel then appeared to me and said cry no more, for god loved rowan just as much he istalled a doggie dog love and miss my gentle friend till we meet again wait for me at heavens door.

I have just caught up with this Sylvia. I am so sorry to hear about Rowan and can only imagine how you feel. Border collies are such wonderful, loyal friends so I can imagine the huge gap that he has left in your life. Thank goodness that he is not in pain any more.
Sending you love,
Eleanor x

Hi, I have just updated myself about Rowan, having read your post about him going to sleep I am not ashamed that it bought a tear to my eyes, our last cat had a heart attack in Malcolm's arms and died, I am sure that you will meet Rowan again one day, until then please accept my sympathies to you and your family love Kimxx

Hi Sylvia Good to see you posting Sylvia but sorry to hear that you aren't able to continue your much loved shore walks at the moment. It is difficult to come to terms with such a sad loss but I hope as each day passes the sadness will lessen and memories of your wonderful times together will fill your heart. There will come a time when you feel able to resume your walks with happier thoughts Thinking of you Sylvia, take care, Lyn x
